A bit of everything

Hi Everybody!

So I thought I would do a little bit of everything today.
First up - A huge thankyou to everyone who visits my little rants and raves and reads through them. I may not look it but I am so overly excited everytime I read someones comment. Thank you all so much. I love you all! Woo woo!
Next up - a little update on me: Mum hasn't taken any new photos of me just yet as she has got the groomer coming out Saturday morning to finally rid me of my coat once and for all. So sorry no photos of me.
Also I have been really enjoying having the little rodent of a brother around of late. His main purpose in life is to jump at my face and try and bite me but I've been good and just ignoring him. We've been playing a bit of fetch together and it really is quite fun. Who'd have thought having a brother would be fun... Shhh... don't tell mum though.
Here are some photos of him - cause he is clean and not looking like a lost dog:

Lastly - Mum doesn't really like to take over my blog with horsey things because well... this is a dog blog. However she was so dog damned proud of her friend the other day at his first western show that she just had to brag and post some photos.

First Site

Hi Everybody!
First up - Please everybody excuse the state of my coat in these photos.... I hate maulting so much as it makes me look like an unloved pet... Mum does love me - I think. Anyway this morning when she was feeding me she promised to get out a groomer to get all the coat out and hopefully make me sparkling again! But even she admits she has been a lazy mum and should have got stuck into my coat - but every time she has I just clump more!
I'm also embarressed because I didn't want Cosi to have to see me like this.
Enough of that -
I had only really met my brother through the glass of the sliding door, a hole in the gate and also a one off time when I was allowed inside but got way to crazy and tried to pounce on him that mum had to put me out again... Apparently Buz isn't there to be pounced on - just yet anyway.
But the other day mum let me out the front, I came tearing through then haulted to a very fast stop... There was something differant.
Something very differant! I had found a 'swirl' and it wasn't mine...
Then out of the blue it appeared.
I was mesmorized... So was 'it'
I went up for a quick sniff but quickly decided against it.

Then I braved up and decided to introduce myself.

He turned out not to be so bad. Perhaps a little squishy...

Perhaps a little cute...

Perhaps just a little naughty...

Or perhaps just a little edible...

Valentines Day!

Hi Everybody!
I have alot - and I mean alot of catching up to do. First off - love is in the air... It's of course Valentines day - and I have a very special message for someone who a while ago I think I may have broke his heart... So here goes:
To Cos -

You’re in my thoughts and in my heart
Wherever I may go;
On Valentine’s Day I’d like to say
I care more than you know.
I am so very very sorry I never replied to you. My brain is all over the place sometimes.

Also - I recieved an award from the gorgeous Togo - Thanks buddy - Your the best.

So I'd like to pass this award onto :

River - Your chicken eating skills are amusing

Holly - Your life never seems dull

Cos - Just because

Woo! Thanks again Togo for the award.

Now onto the tagging.

The beautiful and lovely Holly tagged me to play the 7 Weird Facts about myself game.

So here goes:

  1. I live for tennis balls - however I'm not allowed to have them. Whenever I get a tennis ball I chomp and chew on it that hard that I always put holes in them. Then I chomp and chew even more and try to eat all the peices... Aparently its not good for me. I just like the taste.
  2. I never used to eat carrots - until one day I saw mum feeding Turps (RIP little bunny freind) one and from now on I search for them.
  3. I prefer to live outside. If I'm inside to long I'll ring the bell to go out - I like to think that it's nice inside until I get in there... And then I realise it's better outside.
  4. I have a stuffie collection and fettish. I know exactly which one I want and will search high and low for it on that paticular day. No other stuffie will substitute.
  5. I pull like there is no tomorrow. Mum always complains after we go for a walk because I always pull... Sometimes she puts me in a halti so that she doesn't get a sore arm - this works but I still pull if there is friends to be made.
  6. On the occasion that mum has forgotten to put the lid back on my dog food container I have gorged myself to the extent that I look like I'm about to explode. It becomes uncomfortable for me to do anything - including sitting - and I just have to wait it out. Mum has been extremly careful of late to make sure it doesn't happen again.
  7. I have only ever barked once - and that was actually just a woo that got cut off when I jumped and sounded a bit like a bark.

Now, the rules to the tag:

1. Once you are tagged, link back to the blogger who tagged you.
2. Post the rules on your blog.
3. Post 7 random or weird facts about yourself on your blog.
4. Tag 7 bloggers and link to them.
5. Comment on their blog to let them know they have been tagged.

So here goes:

Amber, Cos, Steve, Lorenza, Togo, River, Zim

So now with all of that aside... Here is my little brother (cause mum said I had to share).

Till Next Time -

Whoot! Hi pups, as you can see I am pretty tiny compared to my big sis Codes. I've met her a few times - through the gate, through the door but Oh MY FRUIT TINGLE! When I met her for the first time without a barrier I nearly had pup failure. See the thing I learnt (very quickly) is that although my sis is old (8) she is still very young and active. She came right up to me and pounced right in my face and all I could do was let out a yelp! I think though that I'll get used to her active ways... I hope.

This is my Rubber Chicken - he squeaks really loudly and I just love him so much. I would do anything for him.

I bite him

And sleep on him

And bite him some more.

We wrestle and I fling him around.

I love my chicken....

Love the fudley - Buz

Introducing Buz.

Hi Everybody!

First off - just so that you all don't forget about me before all the 'cute' photos are posted here is me:

Remember - I'm cute too. Just keep that in your minds...

So Saturday morning mum was a little nervous... There was a few things she was worried about - What if there was no pup on the plane, what if the lady had done the dirty on her and just taken her money? What if the pup died on the plane? What if... So to keep her mind off all the what if's she spent the morning with her friend - and got grumpy at him as that's the best way to keep her mind off things.

Of course - by 1:30 when she got a phone call from the breeder stating she was at the airport with my brother and everything was going to plan (other then the handle snapping of the carrier which was fixed with cable ties) and that by 3:30 he should be arriving.

Now mum got excited - so excited infact her friend (who she had been previously annoying) told her to calm down and stop jumping. He was pretty happy as well though.

Mum was going up with a friend (not the same one, sister to the mentioned friend before) however when she rang to say that she couldn't leave until 2:30 mum was devastated... They were supposed to be leaving at 2! Then she got another call saying she couldn't go at all... Which made mum even more scared - she had no idea where to go! Who was going to hold him on the way home? Eek! Luckily the friend managed to work some magic and they both hit the road.

Fast forward an hour and they collected my brother from the airport with no further hassles. The sound of the frieght pick up area was aloud with 'Awwwwww' as he made his way through the airport.

He slept the whole way home.

So - without further adu - I give you .... Buz!

Did you bask in the cuteness?
Tomorrow there will be more of an update with more photos. So check back! Also the lovable Holly has tagged me for a fun game which I'll play tomorrow.

3 More days

Hey Everybody!
Hope you've all had a great couple of days?
As I was eating my breakie this morning I happened across an idea - Most of us have had a couple of collars (or still have) in their lifetime... So I was just putting it out there for everyone to post about their fashion statements - either bad or good. So post some pictures of your collars, clothing, harness or anything else that you've worn to get that 'look'.
I'll get mum to take (and find) some pictures and I'll post mine up soon!

Now onto the important stuff.

I'm on a mission. A mission to get everything sorted before my new brother comes in.

I need to hide all of my toys from him so he cant steal them. I also need to make sure I dig lots of holes in the yard so there is places for him to sleep away from me [mum: I don't think he'll be sleeping in holes, maybe he can share your bed?] - Mum, he is not sharing my bed. He gets dirt! [Mum: don't stress, he has his own seperate bed] He can have dirt! I'm claiming that bed too. I need to constantly put my food bowl in differant places to make sure he can never ever find it and steal my food. Is there anything else that I should do? I've never had a younger brother or sister before - only an older sister who passed away a few years ago.

  • Mum gave me a good brush the other day - I'm still loosing heaps of fur. But as she was brushing me she went through a list of things she has got:
  • Crate
  • Blanket
  • toys (apparently they are way to small for me)
  • 3 x collars (she couldn't make up her mind)
  • 2 x leads
  • bed
  • a couple of jumpers (cause he has no fur like me)

Things she needs to get:

  • Harness (and matching lead)
  • bowls
  • Puppy Pads
  • Puppy Food
  • Paper Towel
  • Baby Wipes

She is so excited but also a little nervous as she has to drive to the airport - and althoughs he has done that heaps, she has never had to pick up a puppy from there so she is a little unsure where to go. She said she has to call them today and find out.

I'm pretty excited myself - although jealous because I've never been on an aeroplane before, but neither has mum. So the pup has done exciting things that we haven't.

Till Next Time -

Yikes!

Hi Everybody!

Hope everyone had a great weekend. I know I sure did - even if did get pretty scarey halfway through it.

Everyone knows my beautiful car:Well it tried to kill my mum!
On Sunday night she was driving home from her friend's place (about a 3 minute drive) when she noticed smoke coming from the windscreen dimister vents. She got really scared and pulled the car over imediatly and grabbed her camera and jumped out of the car.
She called her friend (the one she had been at) and he came straight away with his dad. When his dad (who we'll call P), When P opened the door he could smell the smoke straight away and said it must have been an electrical fault somewhere.
Mum was releived that the whole car didn't catch on fire - but she was also annoyed to the hills considering my car has had so many problems since she bought it. So P disconnected the battery and it sat there for the night - Mum was dropped home by her friend.
Luckily, when mum's dad had a look at it the next day it turned out to be just the radio - which had burnt out and smouldered on itself. So that is now removed and thankfully it isn't going to cost much to put in a new CD player. Mum is extremely relieved!
Luckily I wasn't in the car!
We did go for a hike the day earlier though - It was great. I got to wear my pack and everything.
5 More days to Go!
